A Loving Home Provides A Strong Foundation For Child Development

By: Leading Lady

Parenting can be a very stressful task yet the most fulfilling achievement one can ever have. Be not just a "Mom or Dad" to your kids but be there as their "Best Friend".

Parent and child relationship is the most wonderful thing that is truly made in heaven. The kind of love and affection that no one or nothing can ever replace in so called "Home".

A "Family" is composed of a father, mother, and child. During the early stage of our "Little Angel's" life, it is our responsibility to give our child the best there is that life can offer. Material things are necessary but there are more important matters that should be given top priority. One is the Emotional Aspect, so with Physical, Mental, and Spiritual as well. Undivided attention and unconditional love for our children is a requirement for us to be able to handle everything with so much trust, respect and confidence in each other. There will be times in their lives as they grow older that they would encounter trials and will be needing our guidance and assurance that no matter what happens, we can always be their "Strength" and most trusted friend.

"Love" gives a sense of security which is the great need of children. On the contrary, valuing their existence as a very important member of the family will give them the courage and determination to pursue their goals in life. In their weakest, we must be there to pull them up. Our presence is more than enough to let them know that everything will be all right. We need to remind them that it takes a little rain to make a Rainbow. Life can be very frustrating sometimes if you do not know how to manage your self well.

Proper motivation and guidance from us will lead them to the right direction to which path they have to take. Parents should meet their children halfway and give them enough space to grow into a mature and responsible individual. A pat on the back in every achievement they will make is necessary to acknowledge their efforts for a job well done and to make them feel how proud we are as their parents. They deserve to hear verbal appreciations from us and this makes them doubly happy.

Life is a constant journey and in every step they would make along the way, we have to be there to give moral support and encouragement. The friendship between parents and children can be the most comfortable and happy bond that no one can ever take away. Our responsibilities should not end until there. A complete happy family will always be a perfect mirror in a child's life giving him the best reason to keep that special place in his heart of what we certainly call "Home".
