Baby Care In Japan Culture Is A Recognised Full Time Job For Mothers

Baby care in Japan is similar in some ways to the care that babies receive in other cultures. The mother takes a very central role in baby care in Japan although the other family members do not have a similar role in Japan as in the United States. In general, mothers and fathers share more parenting duties in the United States. Baby care in Japan is regarded as a very important job, and a prime responsibility of the mother. Although times are changing to some extent, Japanese women do not work outside of the home as much as women in other cultures.

Baby care in Japan is regarded as a full time responsibility, and the mother is often the one that bathes, feeds and takes care of the hygiene of a new baby. The fathers often work very long hours outside of the home, and they rarely have the time to take part in baby care in Japan. The role of the mother in educating the children is a very important aspect of baby care in Japan. The mothers are judged to some extent on how well their children develop. The mothers take baby care in Japan as a serious responsibility because they know that their own reputation will be based on the success of their children.

Baby Care in Japan Trains Children to be Obedient

Japanese children are trained from a very young age that they are supposed to be obedient to older people. This could be their mother and father who are probably at least twenty years older, but this would also apply to those a few years older. Baby care in Japan trains children to be an acceptable part of the society. Children are expected to behave at all times. The mothers in charge of baby care in Japan need to make sure that their babies understand this from a very young age.

Baby care in Japan is also based on the philosophy of the culture. The people believe that children are treasures, and the families are intent on making the children feel that they are treasures. Parents are intent on providing some very enjoyable activities for their children. There are parks and playgrounds for children to play and enjoy life. The idea that the children are treasures means that babies get beautiful clothes and toys from the time that they are born.
