Buying the right lamp for your home can instantly change the way a room looks and feels. If you want to update the look of your home without spending a lot of money a lamp is a great way to achieve a new style. Depending on what type of lamp you buy and what room you put it into you can add to the styling and décor. No longer do lamps only serve the purpose of providing lighting for a room. Lamps are a new decorating tool.

So roll up your sleeves and look around your home to see what can do. Does your work area need a lamp? Retro lamps popular in the ‘60s and ‘70s are all the rage nowadays, with their marvelous deep orange and rust shades. If you are lucky enough to still own some drag them out of the attic and try sprucing them up a little. They’ll soon look as good as ever.
